ESNNA Code

Our commitment

What is the ESNNA code?

“ESNNA” stands for the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (Explotación Sexual de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes): the use of minors for sexual, pornographic or erotic purposes in exchange for benefits such as payments, promises of payment or other favors (food, clothing, mobile devices, among others).

To address this problem, Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) carries out awareness campaigns aimed at regional and local authorities, tourism service providers and the general public, with the goal of preventing and eliminating it in the country.
